For their inaugural exhibition In Plain Sight, the Street Museum of Art is celebrating all the creativity overflowing in Brooklyn by taking the museum to the street. The installation features the work of many well-known street artists (JR, Sweet Toof, Faile, and more) who have created publicly accessible works hidden “in plain sight”. The installation is really a Williamsburg-based scavenger hunt, encouraging participants and pedestrians alike to notice and appreciate street art they may have walked right by in the past.
