Before 2012 ends, make sure you get down to the New Museum to check out their exhibit Come Closer: Art Around the Bowery 1969-1989. Pictured above are both sides of Keith Haring's Broome Street apartment door, and you'll also find original artwork, ephemera, and performance documentation by over fifteen artists who lived and worked on or near the Bowery in New York during those 20 years. For anyone interested in pop art, cultural history, or New York City, get down there now because this exhibit (which is free!) closes  on December 30th.
