Sunny indie-poppers Tennis are back with a piano-driven new tune titled “Mean Streets” off their upcoming EP Small Sound. If you like what you hear, swing by Brooklyn Bowl and catch them on 11/3.

Dr. Dog's previous albums seemed as rigid and tightly strung as lead singer Toby Leaman’s vocal chords, but on their new album B-Room, it seems like the band has finally been able to slack off a bit. The songs are loose, soulful singalongs, reminiscent of The Band’s Basement Tapes. I highly recommend streaming the full album over at Rolling Stone (I’ve had “Distant Light” stuck in my head for three days).

Quick new tune called "Gimme" from Beck which sounds a bit like a Dirty Projectors tune with a whole lot of…xylophone? Like his previous releases, this one is just a stand-alone single, as we continue to wait for his next LP to drop.

The official video for Arcade Fire’s “Reflektor” is insane - featuring masks, mirrors, and disco balls.

Phoenix's Take Away Show for La Blogothequefilmed by a drone at dawn in the empty gardens of Le Chateau de Versailles.

When cult-rock crew Wu Lyf split up last year, drummer Joe Manning, bassist Tom McClung, and guitarist Evans Kati formed their own band, Los Porcos. They’ve recently shared their single “Sunshine”, which is the most stupidly derivative pop songs this side of One Direction. But damn is it catchy. The only words you can really make out are “you make me feel” and “sunshine” and that’s all you need to know. Enjoy.

Frankie Rose returns with “Sorrow” off her new album Herein Wild, out September 4th. It’s a lovely piece of dark, bedroom pop that serves as a great followup to 2012’s Interstellar.
