Rarely, if ever do I post fan footage but this is something special: hometown heroes War on Drugs jammed with former member Kurt Vile last night in Philly and burned the house down. Here they are ripping through “Under the Pressure”, check out the rest of their set here

Ryan Adams is on an insane creative bender right now: first came 1984, his “hard-core” album that sounded a bit like The Men, then his self titled album that should definitely be considered his best work in years, and now Jacksonville, a 3 song EP that leans back towards his country-twang. All of this has been released within the month of Septemer. Damn boy!

Pond, an Australian psych-rock band that shares members (and vibes) with Tame Impala, are about to release their next album Man It Feels Like Space Again, and will be touring North America this fall. Get ready for their impending visit with their new single “Waiting Around for Grace.”

Ryan Adams performed "Kim" last night on Jimmy Fallon and even though his sweaty hair got in his eyes, he refused to flinch because it had taken him 3 hours of careful sculpting to get it to look so perfect.

On an unrelated note, his new self titled album is killer, and absolutely worth a listen.

Fittingly psychedelic new video for Ty Segall's “Manipulator”. You can control the imagery yourself here.

Here’s Jack White playing an incredible take away show in a French Castle.

New hook-filled single “Forcefield of Solitude” from lowest-fi psych-rockers Purling Hiss off their upcoming album, Weirdon, out September 23rd. Highly recommended.

Foxygen has premiered their super-weird new track “Cosmic Vibrations” on Tim Heidecker’s Twitter account, for some reason.
